Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Attenello began her academic journey at the University of California, Berkeley, where she completed her undergraduate studies. She then moved to the East Coast to pursue a master’s degree at Georgetown University, followed by earning her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.
After medical school, Dr. Attenello returned to California to complete her residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Southern California. During her time there, she trained under nationally and internationally recognized faculty and served as Chief Resident. Her exceptional academic performance earned her a place in the highly competitive fellowship program offered by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in San Francisco.
